Staff:

Laboratory Manager: I am currently seeking a Lab Manager for a full-time, long-term position in our group. Start date flexible. M.S. preferred. Must have at least two years of laboratory experience and excellent organizational and communication skills. Please contact me for more information if you are interested in this position.

Laboratory Technician: I am currently seeking a Jr. Specialist Lab Technician to assist on an NSF funded project on fungal competition. Must have B.S. at start date. Must have basic experience in plant and/or fungal culture and molecular techniques (PCR, DNA/RNA extraction etc.). Anticipated start date in early summer 2025. Graduate Students:

The next application cycle for graduate school will take place in December 2025. Please see the UC Berkeley Plant and Microbial Biology Ph.D. Program for more information. UCB PMB does not offer an MS program. If you are interested in graduate work in our group, please reach out to me in advance of the application deadline, but note that admissions decisions are made my committee, not by the PI, and admitted students participate in three rotations before lab placements. I hope to accept one graduate student from the December 2025 cohort to start Fall 2026.
